A lottery player who bought a Powerball ticket at a liquor store in Burlington County for Saturday’s drawing won a $50,000 third-prize. The lucky ticket was sold at Florence Wine & Liquor on Broad Street in Florence, lottery officials said. It matched four numbers plus the Powerball.

Someone in Cherry Hill just turned a routine grocery run into a serious cash upgrade. A Powerball ticket sold at the ShopRite on East Evesham Road matched four white balls and the Powerball in the March 14 drawing, landing the holder a $50,000 prize and sending shoppers across the township scrambling to recheck their slips after the weekend draw.
