In 1923 Ada had the Faust and Breco hospitals. The air-conditioned Sugg Clinic, often called "Little Mayo," opened in 1933, and the building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. In later years Valley View Regional Hospital (1986) and Rolling Hills Psychiatric Hospital (1988) were established. One of the town's native sons, Robert S.
