Nickel Plate Road 765 is a restored excursion steam locomotive based in Fort Wayne, Indiana and cared for by the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society. The locomotive pulls several public passenger excursions each year. Some of the most popular are the Tristate Steam Excursions, operating from Edon, Ohio to Hillsdale, Michigan and return. Nickel Plate Road No.765 at Pleasant Lake Depot Pleasant Lake, Indiana Pleasant Lake's historic train depot, also known as the New York Central Railroad Depot, was built in 1882 by the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway, was a vital hub for passenger and freight trains.
