15K views · 21 reactions | These 'weird tendril things' are in fact aeriel roots :) These are roots that grow above the ground or water. They help plants climb as they reach towards the light, offer stability, and absorb moisture from the air. We train our Monsteras up hessian poles but as you can see from the pics of Chaz in his natural setting, he's used to climbing up trees, creating quite the spectacle  | Patch plants | Facebook
